"Movado watches are known for their minimalist style and the iconic signature metallic dot at 12 o'clock."
"Since 1881, Movado has been a brand in motion – always changing, always innovating, always moving forward. This quest for innovation has made us one of the world’s premier watchmakers, with a proud heritage of Swiss craftsmanship, design excellence, and technological innovation. With more than 100 patents and 200 international awards for watch design and time technology, Movado continues innovating into the future. Movado watches are in 20 museums across the globe." -MovadoGroup.com/history
Simple yet bold. Sleek and modern. Minimalistic. These are all ways this Movado SE Extreme wristwatch can be described. The cool stainless steel throughout the entire watch and bracelet give it a sleek, smooth look. At first glance, the dial may look plain, but look again. The stainless steel face is a silver sunburst, and the sword-shaped hands and signature metallic dot at 12 o'clock are polished and reflect like a mirror. The dial is subtly marked at the bottom in red, "Movado", "Automatic", and "Swiss Made". The crystal is a sapphire crystal. The attraction is in the simplistic design.
This wristwatch features a display case back so one can easily view the automatic rotary movement, which is marked with a large red "M" on the rotor. The Swiss movement is a caliber Sellita SW 200-1 with a 38-hour power reserve, and is water resistant. The reference number is 12.1.14.1053.
This Movado SE Extreme is completed with a stainless steel bracelet with a hidden stainless steel push-button folding clasp. It is marked with the Movado name and logo. Barely-noticeable wear on the underside of the bracelet.
This is an extremely clean and sophisticated timepiece that would complement any casual or business casual wardrobe.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. Women’s watches from the 1900s-1970s were also much smaller than today's offerings. Please also feel free to ask any questions you have pertaining to size.
We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
The condition is pre-owned.
The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
Please review the photos and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
It will be carefully packed.
