This stunning timepiece is a vintage Gruen precision wristwatch, "The Precision Watch" dated from 1953. It is a manual wind watch, the movement is style 851 and caliber 335 SS, 21 jewels, manual wind, sweep second, U.S.A. made, precision and Veri-Thin patented.

It has a stunning round case with fancy lugs design in 10K gold filled. The crystal is in good condition.

After 65 years, this watch still looks preserved in time, it still has the original black matte dial with gold hour marks and matching hands. The dial is signed with the Gruen name and the logo for "21 jewels and "Precision" as well. It is coming with a new old stock vintage black two pieces leather straps (Hadley-Roma France signed "Genuine Leather").

This watch is in lovely condition! Runs very well and keeps great time.

Gruen watches were known for their elegant and thin design, marketed by the company as VeriThin.

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
